The Table
30/09/2018 Duração: 32minWhat stands out to you in the passage? We see that God’s of His spirit in all that believe, God has done everything possible to give everyone a seat at the table. Often we can be selective of who we spend time with – maybe because they are like us or can offer us something – but Jesus demonstrates that true love and community is best demonstrated in how many people are invited to your table. What’s the main point? God’s heart from the beginning is that everyone would come to the knowledge of the truth and find a place at His table. At God’s table, we find love, community and an understanding of who we truly are. What would it look like if Christians apply this main point, or follow this principle, in their lives today? Someone once said that love is spelt t.i.m.e. It is not possible to love, honour, support and encourage others without giving the time to do it. The chapters are complex, but the overall message is clear: One day Jesus will return, judge all people and inaugurate the new age.
