Second Sunday of Advent. The readings today tell us to live with hope in this season of Advent. However, this hope should be active, not passive. Do not presume that simply because we have accepted Jesus than we are completely saved, as this is too presumptuous of the Lord. We must repent and serve and hope for the Lord's salvation.
