Friday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time. Although the readings at first seem like fairly bad news, Father Dave points out that in the responsorial psalm, we see that indeed "The Lord is kind and merciful." Thursday of the Sixth Week in Ordinary Time. The readings remind us today to make sure that we do not have partiality with certain people over others - as impossible as this task may seem. For as Scripture tells us, it may very well be that one person you write off due to preconceived misconceptions that would have been your cornerstone to a stronger faith with God.
