Dela Grey - Big 'B', Little 'b'

Still trying to find her niche, she has worked as a teacher, reservationist for a water sports company in Hawaii, naturalist park ranger, land sales specialist for the State, studied volcanology, and most recently became a licensed land surveyor. She loves hiking and orienteering, wants to do more kayaking, and is trying to like skiing, but recent winters keep conspiring against her, in spite of her briefly having an Olympic gold medalist as a neighbor.

An interest in fish, mountains, and reading the book “Hatchet” too many times as a kid brought him to Alaska. He enjoys art and music, the company of most people, free food, roadkill, and dumpster diving. He dreams of climbing tall peaks and eating weird food items while pursuing different avenues to educate himself and enjoy life.

28/10/2019 Duração: 08minLynda Leal Prince teaches high school social studies, runs marathons and ultra-marathons, has studied five languages but mastered none, kayaked 600 miles of the Yukon River, survived the winter of ‘88-‘89 in Fairbanks, didn’t flunk out of Harvard, fought off an attacker with her bare hands, helped deliver a baby in a country where she didn’t even know the word for ‘soap’ in the local language, is a sugar addict who gave up sugar for 6 weeks straight last winter, and saved the princess once. Parenting, though, remains the hardest thing she’s ever done.

Jacob Dodson - My Brothers Fake Family
25/10/2019 Duração: 07minJacob moved to Anchorage in February in no small part because he had never been to Alaska before. He has competed in the O. Henry Pun-Off World Championships multiple times and mostly hasn't done too well. From Texas, he's a little unnerved to have already found his windshield iced over in the morning.
