Christians around the world keep celebrating long past Christmas Day. When I discovered that, I wondered what was wrong with us.

God used good friends and family to bless and heal Job.

The poor tell us who we are, the prophets tell us who we could be.

God's church should be that healthy, healing environment for people to find peace.

This decline in Christian understanding and discipleship is nothing new. We've been joking about it for some time.

It's as if we just wrapped the last gift and it's already time to move on.

I happen not to hate religion.

There is no such thing as a generous Christian.

If you can't quite the preacher, let's at least make things comfortable.
