How do we have a tomb at all if we don't have a cross?

What was Judas doing sitting at a place of honor?

Why don't we preoccupy ourselves with bearing fruit instead of setting goals?

You can be close to Jesus but not transformed by Jesus.

Only because of God's grace can we experience such a devoted sense of faith and trust.

Tears don't pass your neck. Grief does.

Learning from the savior himself didn't always help the disciples.

I've been leery of church programs ever since.

We could stand to refocus on what we know helps us grow as believers in Christ.

It blesses me when I know someone musters every bit of faith they have to rejoice.

When you're ready, I'm ready with you. 

Jesus was ready for that party.

When we use our faith to belittle and shame others, we become like the fools who have fallen away (Psalm 53:3).

Let it be an invitation of faith for someone or an encouragement of faith for another follower of Jesus.

Can a rollercoaster dislodge kidney stones?

Don't invite Jesus to your church! At least, don't expect him to show up and not do Jesus-y things.

The eagles may change, but how we reach out to them hasn't.

After such an accusation, you would think it'd be okay to think the worst of anyone.

If we're willing, we can give up the show and walk in deeper communion with the God of all Creation.

I'm uncomfortable begging the church to do the very minimum of what we're called to do.
