Another John Weekly Message

If Sunday is the first day, then one of the first things I do to start my week is worship. That has a way of setting priorities and guiding how I approach the following days.

Let our laughter be a sign of blessing, of peace and of being able to see the beauty of God beyond the pain of this world.

You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

A common theme in all scripture reminds us that God watches and cares for how we care for each other.

We don't want to be foolish enough to think God will overlook how we care for or ignore the needs of God's people.

Though we may suffer today, our faith draws us to praise the Lord.

If God has acted, let God's action be everything it is.

There are 5,446,646 people named John in the U.S. I'm just Another John.

Your story is going to be a blessing for someone else to hear.

Maybe that's the key to better keeping your foot away from your mouth.

We're all someone's so-and-so.

Paul didn't settle for what was right, but what was righteous. 

Moses prayed 515 times for one thing. 

"Preach the gospel, die and be forgotten."

Prayer and worship are not wastes of time.

God doesn't seem to open our eyes to know everything right now.

I know that I know that I know God is with us.

Sometimes I wish God would just start over.

Help me figure out how we get back to the good old days.
