When we come to God with humility, he will lift us up. he will honor us. We all battle pride and it is an ongoing daily battle. There is something humbling about starting our day with gratitude and thanks. It makes you stop and realize that God really has blessed us and given us so much. This week Pastor Mike Mozingo encouraged us to release worry from our lives. To really leave it with God and not pick it back up. Our trust in God and choosing to be thankful results in God’s peace in our lives. When you worry, it doesn't fix the past. It doesn't fix the future. When you worry, all it does is ruin today. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. This week we dove into week two of our new series, 'Anxious About Nothing.' Pastor Mike Mozingo charged us to let go the things that are holding us captive and give them over to God. We say, 'God, we are giving it to you.' but then we are quick to take it back and try to have God fit inside our plan. We must recognize that we are in need of God and his peace and learn to trust Jesus. Continue listening to hear how you can meditate on His word and give up control to Him.

Perspective simply means, 'how you see something.' This week Student Pastor Tony Mest kicked off our new series and challenged us to change our perspective. What the devil throws to trip us, God can use to lift and elevate us. And we can use our trials as a way to spread the Good News! This Mother's Day, Pastor Daniel Bridgman to us as parents, there are always mistakes, there are always things that frustrate us and that we won't get right. But our goal is simply to make a Godly impact on our kid's lives that will last a lifetime, to walk closer to God than we do, trust him in times that challenge them. We can have a Godly impact on their lives when choose our friends wisely and finding people who will keep us accountable. This week, Executive Pastor Daniel Bridgman continued our series 'The Power of Jesus' and spoke on the power of Jesus to unify. It was an incredible message that challenged us to examine our own hearts and intentions before pointing out flaws in others. He encouraged us to focus on what unites us, not on our differences because let's face it, we're all different and we NEED those differences in our lives. He also challenged us to handle conflict in a biblical manner. Listen for yourself and be encouraged. We can fix what has been broken with the help of Jesus.

Easter Sunday is a day to celebrate Jesus giving his life for us, so when we believe in him, we can have everlasting life in heaven. John 3:16. But there is more to just believing that Jesus rose from the grave ... Pastor Mike Mozingo spoke on the power of Jesus. There is the power of hope and grace. These are given to us by God to live in freedom and hope! To be encouraged daily and know that the power that rose Jesus from the grave, is the same power given to us when we put our trust in Jesus.
