Our new sermon series, Real Joy, kicked off last Sunday with a powerful word from our Lead Pastor. God is at work teaching, convicting, revealing, and blessing until our last breath. And when we realize that God doesn't waste a hurt and our struggles and trials can be used for His glory, we can find joy in our testimony. Lead Pastor, Mike Mozingo, delivered a powerful challenge to change a negative trigger into a good trigger. He reasoned, 'The life you have, is often a reflection of the thoughts you think.' We all have a cognitive bias, or mistake in reasoning based on personal experiences, that has shaped how we feel about a person, place, or thing. Pastor of Recovery Ministries, John Pearse, gave an inspirational message on redefining our legacy. The hurts and hangs ups from our past, don't have to define our future. We have the opportunity to change our lives by the power, forgiveness, and love of God. God is a forgiving and gracious God who wants us to succeed in life and do better than our past. When we give our lives to Jesus, we have the opportunity to break the bonds of 'generational curses' and live in the freedom of God.

Lead Pastor Mike Mozingo teamed up with Young Adults Pastor, Bill Benson, to bring us part 1 of our new teaching series Triggered. May is mental health awareness month. According to the bible, we can ask God for anything. And if we believe and trust in Him, He answers ... so why doesn't God heal our loved ones when we pray and ask and believe?? When it comes to questions that most people ask, their answer is found directly in the bible and they wonder if they can trust the bible. Short answer, YES!! What really changes when you accept Jesus into your life? How are things really different? What does it mean? And why would Jesus die for you? These are a few big questions that Lead Pastor, Mike Mozingo answered this Sunday. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.” Luke 19:41-42 NLT Student Pastor, Tony Mest, challenged us to look at Holy Week differently this year. Jesus was sobbing, not because He was going to die, but because we missed the big picture. We missed what He had been saying. A lot can happen in a week and in a short time, the people who loved Jesus would turn their backs on Him. Listen to how much Jesus loves you. Enough to die for you.

Life Group Pastor, Jeremiah Carswell, wrapped up our series on Contagious Generosity with a powerful message on what it means to trust God fully with our time, resources, and what exactly it means to live with contagious generosity. This Sunday, Lead Pastor Mike Mozingo, continued our series on Contagious Generosity by sharing with us to the blessing we are to and through God's good grace. The story of the Feeding of the Five Thousand helps us see how Jesus can use our offering to multiply and bless those around us as long as we are willing to be His vessels. Pastor Mike asks the pertinent question of "what seems insurmountable in your life?" challenging us to let God overcome all that stands in His way in our lives. Join us as we listen to the challenge and blessing of God's provisional care in our lives.

This Sunday, Lead Pastor Mike Mozingo, continued our series on Contagious Generosity by challenging us to follow the example of the 'good Samaritan.' The good Samaritan was generous with his time and his resources. Pastor Mike asked the question, is your heart tender and compassionate? Lead Pastor Mike Mozingo continued our series on LOVE by bringing us back to the greatest commandment of all, Love God. Loving God with all your heart even when God is silent, tells you no or wait, or even when bad things happen. This week, Lead Pastor Mike Mozingo closed out our sermon series on prayer. 'Instead of asking God to do something for you, ask God to REVEAL something in you.' Dangerous prayers such as 'God search me ...' can lead to questions of where are you in your walk with Christ? Are there things in your life that hurt, sadden, and anger God? Asking him to reveal those will take you out of your comfort zone, and may be a little difficult to hear, but in the end, your relationship with God will be stronger and more intimate than before!
