We have arrived at the final message in our study of Nehemiah. Nonetheless, it is a fitting send-off for this incredible series. After a brief review, we open chapter 13 and see Nehemiah returning to Jerusalem to find the people failing to follow the Law. Sadly, the problem of persistent sin is a difficulty we face especially in today's world. Be encouraged as we take example from the passionate zeal of Nehemiah and realize the mercy of God in pursuing us even in our sin.

We are all too often guilty of failing to remember God's blessings and to be thankful for answered prayer and His provision in our lives.
