Session 13: Mormonism vs. the Gospel
29/11/2015 Duração: 47minIt may seem that we are hitting other religions pretty hard in the last few messages in this series but there is an important distinction to remember. We must know more about Scripture, Christ and the Gospel than about any false religion or cult. Our goal in speaking on the false religions is to show how you can most effectively address the failings of their beliefs and apply the Gospel in their lives. Mormon belief is throughout our culture today and there are some key facts that can help us when conversing with those who hold these beliefs.

Doing Things Naturally
29/11/2015 Duração: 47minThe wrath of God is not a topic we would normally choose for conversation or discussion and yet it is a vital aspect of God's character. Likewise, the depravity and dead state of unregenerate man is an uncomfortable subject for many people. But if we are to understand God's love for us, we must examine these things. Download the Keynote presentation below; it contains the Scriptures used in the message.

Dead or Alive?
22/11/2015 Duração: 38minWhen Paul tells us in Ephesians 2 that we were dead in sin, does he really mean that we were really dead? And why would we be discussing the topic of death on the Sunday before Thanksgiving? By God's grace, if we can grasp the proper understanding of what He has done for us, it will be a great occasion for giving thanks for the salvation we have been given. Having a proper definition of sin and how depraved we are as humans magnifies the greatness of God's love for us in the Gospel.

Session 12: Sharing with Muslims
22/11/2015 Duração: 46minThe Muslim faith is perhaps one of the most contentious and widely discussed religions of our day. And how can we specifically apply the Gospel to this very different mindset? Pastor Carnett takes us through some of the major tenets of this faith and how we may best apply the Word of God when conversing with Muslims.

Session 11: Sharing with Jews
15/11/2015 Duração: 49minAs we draw near to the close of our study on evangelism and the Gospel, we take the last few messages to focus on other faiths and religions. Even as we understand how Christ came as a Jew and lived in Israel, there are precious few Jews today who believe in Him as Lord and Savior. Going back to the Scripture is our strongest case for showing them that Jesus was indeed the Messiah sent to save the world.
