It is this reality that leads us to the significance of why God became a man and why the Christmas story is really good news.

You are made for more. You are created to make an impact. You have a purpose and you play an important part in bringing heaven to earth. This week we welcome guest speakers Jimmy and Genea Horner as they share how we can join God in what He is doing.

The early church was incredibly diverse ethnically, socially, economically and politically. As theologian Scot McKnight describes, it was a fellowship of differents and unlikes. Uniting this fellowship of differents was their unwavering belief in Jesus. The unity of belief in diversity made the early church irresistible and unstoppable. Why does what we believe divide rather than unite the church? How do we return to this irresistible movement of a fellowship of differents?

The church in America is messy for all the wrong reasons. As a result the church ends up turning people away from Jesus rather than toward Jesus. Completely resistible. This was never what the church was intended to be. What does it look like to be a messy church for the right reasons? How can we once more return to an irresistible community for a hurting and broken world?

Our hearts easily drift from God, which is why we need worship. For it is in worship we are reminded that His heart never drifted from us.
