With the same consistency and daily devotion a parent has caring for their child, God longs to walk with us through the joy, pain, boredom, and struggles of life. Join us this Mother's Day as Christina walks us through how God is our perfect heavenly parent.

What does it take to remember what’s important? Is it visiting a place, being with a kind of person, or listening to a specific song? We are wired for physical experiences to draw us into non-physical experiences where we remember what’s important. In communion, God has gifted us with food to receive, to eat, to enjoy, in order to remember the importance of his grace. This Sunday, we will pause our series to take and eat the communion bread and cup in order to be drawn back and to remember the work of Jesus on the cross. If you’re joining us online, please prepare communion elements for yourself: it can be anything you have—some sort of bread or chip or tortilla—and some kind of drink—juice, etc. Join us as we remember the gift of the cross together.

The staggering good news for our weary world is that God is FOR all people. He loves you with a relentless passion; He is your biggest advocate - no matter who you are or what you've done. The invitation of Jesus is not just for some people or the "right" people, it is for every single person. Jesus, the God-man came for you, suffered at the hands of His creation for you, rose to life for you to have new life.  God is for you. Over the last few weeks we have talked about the wisdom inherent in the Bible and that it should necessitate the bulk of your spiritual nourishment. You have been given the tools like a knife and fork to do the eating with practical steps on how to engage at the table. And this week we will be talking about the communal nature of the meal. This is us coming together and sharing from our own lives... and how we effectively take in the nourishment of God's Word together.
