Sinopse
This is simply me reading stuff. "Stuff" being poems and literature and essays and letters. And I'm also talking and praising and laughing and almost crying and hating and living and dying and loving and some other stuff. I try to keep this under 10 minutes because I have a deep fear of boring people.

Emily Dickinson - To Recipient Unknown
09/06/2016 Duração: 10minIn my first time ever reading you Emily Dickinson, I birth the new idiot term “pencil letter.” I praise so much today, even as the emotional fog makes happiness nearly impossible. I praise John D’Agata number one, I praise Emily, I praise Bookworm on KCRW, I praise Graywolf Press, I praise New Directions, I praise charged collisions, I praise all of you who join me every week, I praise swollen moons, and I praise even my worries. They are what they are. Ghalib - My Head and My Knees
23/05/2016 Duração: 09minToday, before reading you Ghalib, I went to the DMV and encountered a 91-year-old woman and a young woman who does not envy living a long life. I was quiet. My apps have been deleted from my phone for almost a month. I am wearing a new shirt. I have two new shirts. I will have them for a long time. Unless I die earlier than expected, which is totally possible and also not horrible. I do tend to get places early. Marianne Moore - Observations
05/05/2016 Duração: 09minToday, from a mystery location, I read three Moore poems: To Be Liked by You Would Be a Calamity, Poetry, and Nothing Will Cure the Sick Lion but to Eat an Ape. And I dichotomously want to do nothing but talk and be very very very quiet. I’m gentle though. I’m dying; I’m writing it down. Calm.
