Only The Valiant

Over the last year, it feels like Valiant has been exploring different corners of the Valiant Universe, and trying out new takes and new directions for some of the properties. While it has "broadened the horizons", it has also removed some of the momentum that has existed in the past, when Valiant was building to larger events like Harbinger Wars and Armor Hunters. It seems like Valiant may be returning to some of that classic mojo now, and building to something big. All of the announcements we heard at the Valiant Summit were part of this, so we take a look at the various announcements, and what they might mean for our reading future. News isn't the only thing we discuss, we also talk about Britannia: We Who Are About To Die, and take an early, non-spoiler look at Secret Weapons.

Another week of new books! Eternal Warrior gives up farming for more of the ultra violence, and mysteries and teases galore in Valiant Free Comic Book Day issue. First up, we discuss Eternal Warrior Awakening. Gilad is a crappy farmer. Gilad gets back into things and takes on Alpha. At least, an Alpha of some sort. He must be bad, because he has a bone throne. Second, we take on the Free Comic Book Day story for 2017. We get a few cool short stories, and a whole lot of teasers.
